2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Remove crankcase ventilation line (4) | ||
4 | Remove oil filler neck (3) | ||
5 | Remove idle speed control actuator (M33) and place it to one side. | ||
Do not disconnect electrical connection | |||
6 | Remove intermediate flange (7) | Connecting flange at intake manifold | |

7 | Remove ignition coils (R9, R39) | ||
8 | Unhook cable set for actuating the injection valves from the retaining clamp (arrow) on the cylinder head cover (1) | ||
9 | Unclip cable strap (arrow) on closed-loop control bearing bracket | ||
10 | Remove cylinder head cover (1) | Installation: Replace seals (2) and (8) | |

11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
12 | Check that seals (2) and (8) of the cylinder head cover (1) are seated correctly | ||
13 | Check for leaks |
