Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.



Release and disconnect purge lines (1, 2).

Unclip and remove purge lines (1, 2).

Seal exposed connections using suitable plugs.

 Record plug

Remove screw/bolts (3).

Remove bleed line with connected wide open throttle crankcase ventilation system (4) with connected adapter from clean air line and unclip from bracket (5) at cylinder head cover.

 Installation: Ensure sealing rings and bracket (5) are correctly seated.

Remove upper section of charge air line between charge air cooler and charge-air distributor.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).

Unscrew bolt (7).

Remove wide open throttle crankcase ventilation system at bottom from housing.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

Install in the reverse order.
