| Remove | ||
1 | Remove ignition coils of cylinder 1 to 6 (T1.1a to T1.6a). | ||
2 | Remove clamp (1) from bracket (2). | ||
3 | Remove holder (2). | ||
4 | Remove air intake duct (3) on the cylinder head cover (4). | ||
5 | Check contoured gasket of cylinder head cover (4) for leaks. | If no leakage is determined, the profiled seal of the cylinder head cover (4) can be reused. | |
6 | Remove the cylinder head cover (4). | The screws for the cylinder head cover (4) are secured from falling out. | |
7 | Clean cylinder head cover (4) and rocker arm frame over the whole circumference and on their sealing surfaces. | ||

8 | Install new contoured gasket in cylinder head cover (4). | Only if the profiled seal of the cylinder head cover (4) is leaky. | |
9 | Install cylinder head cover (4). | Tightening procedure | |
Bolt, cylinder head cover to rocker arm frame | |||
10 | Connect air intake duct (3) to the cylinder head cover (4). | ||
11 | Install holder (2). | ||
12 | Attach clamp (1) at bracket (2). | ||
13 | Install ignition coils of cylinder 1 to 6 (T1.1a to T1.6a). | ||
14 | Perform engine test run. | ||
15 | Check area of cylinder head cover (4) for leaks. | Visual inspection. |
