1	Switch off ignition	Key in ignition / starter switch (8) in position 0.

3	Disconnect electrical connector on pressure regulator valve (Y74)	 To prevent injection of fuel.
4	Connect compression recorder (01)	Only connect electric cables. See 

5	Crank engine	 Do not crank the engine with the electronic ignition switch (8) but use the contact switch (02) on the compression tester (01) instead.

6	Connect up electrical connector on pressure regulator valve (Y74)
7	Read out fault memory and erase	Stored faults which may result from wires being disconnected or from simulation during assembly or testing have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
