The vehicle must not be raised at the center longitudinal member, as this may cause serious damage to the frame.
The vehicle can be raised in two ways.
1 Secure vehicle at rear axle to prevent it rolling away on its own.
2.1 Raise vehicle at both inner lift support points (arrows) simultaneously until front wheels can turn freely.
Perform if vehicle has to be raised at frame.

2.2 Raise vehicle using a suitable jack (1) at steering knuckle (3) until front wheel can turn freely.
Place a block of wood (2) between jack (1) and steering knuckle (3). Perform if vehicle has to be raised at steering knuckle (3).
