Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off on its own when jacked up. Risk of injury caused by rotating parts when working on running engine or drive train.

Ensure that jack stands have secure and adequate footing.
An authorized person must occupy the driver seat.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Clip adapter (01) into lift support points (1) of longitudinal members

When removing underfloor paneling.

Adjust support plates (02) of vehicle lift support arms (03) to height of vehicle

 Turn support plates (02) until these make contact with  adapters (01) or lift support points (1) of longitudinal members.

Raise vehicle with vehicle lift.

For this reason, secure vehicle on vehicle lift against tilting and falling down.

 Before removing major assemblies (e.g. engine, transmission, axles).

Secure vehicle on inspection pit lift or floor jack against tilting and falling down

 Place jack stands beneath lift support points (1).
