4 | Allow engine to run at approx. 1400 rpm | ||
5 | Check refrigerant level in inspection glass (1) after approx. 5 minutes | The air conditioning is correctly filled when the refrigerant is visible without any bubbles in the inspection glass (1). If there is a high level of bubble formation check the air conditioning for leaks subject to separate repair order: | |
| Inspect the refrigeration circuit for leaks. | ||
6 | Check the moisture content of the refrigerant in the inspection glass (1) | The refrigerant is OK: The pin in the center of the inspection glass (1) is green. | |
The refrigerant is not OK: The pin in the center of the inspection glass (1) is yellow: | |||
Extract refrigerant from system, recycle and refill the specified filling amount in to the system. After obtaining special order. | |||
