Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check

Start engine and switch on stationary air conditioning

Check stationary air conditioner for proper operation

 Run engine at idle speed for about 4 minutes then check all the relevant component functions for proper operation of the air conditioning.

Check temperature of refrigerant line by hand

 The refrigerant feed line should be cold and the refrigerant return line warm.

Turn off engine
