Turn ignition lock to release steering/radio position or drive position.

Operate auxiliary heater switch (1).
The indicator lamp (2) must light up and the multifunction display must show the operating data for the auxiliary heater. The combustion process must start and at the same time the blower for combustion air and hot air must start.

Switch off auxiliary heater switch (1) after approx. 5 minute combustion duration.
The combustion air blower must run on for a few minutes.
