Connect charger to battery

Switch on ignition

Switch on radio/navigation system (1) and remove all CDs or DVDs

Insert truck navigation DVD, check map data versions and make a note of them

 The truck navigation DVD is available through the GLC.
The map data version installed and on the truck navigation DVD is displayed.

If map data version is not updated:



Update map data.

Update data

Update map data, following the instructions on the display

Only if a later map data version is available on the truck navigation DVD than installed.

 The update can take up to 240 minutes. Do not interrupt the power supply during this time.

Remove the truck navigation DVD

Insert previously removed CDs or DVDs and switch off radio/navigation system (1)

Switch off ignition

Disconnect battery charger
