Danger! | Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel. | Fire, sparks, open flames or smoking forbidden. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. | |
1 | Switch off ignition | Secure engine to prevent it from being started unintentionally. | |
2 | Open cap of fuel tank | To release any pressure which may have built up. | |
3 | Unscrew cap (1) from housing of fuel filter (4) | ||
4 | Remove filter element (3) | Collect fuel which flows out. Installation: Install new filter element and new sealing ring (2). Rub in sealing ring (2) with clean fuel. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
6 | Start engine and inspect housing of fuel filter (4) for leaks |
