1 | Check gap (a) between the pole plates of the stator (2) and the front rotor (1) using a feeler gauge | Measure the gap at all pole plates of the stator (2), then form the mean value from the measurement values. The mean value must be within the specified gap. | |
It must be possible to pull the feeler gauge between the front rotor (1) and the pole plates of the stator (2) under slight resistance. | |||
If the mean value or an individual measurement is outside the specified tolerance: | |||
| Adjust gap - subject to a separate repair order. | ||
2 | Measure the gap (a) between the pole plates of the stator (2) and the rear rotor (1) using a feeler gauge | Measure the gap at all pole plates of the stator (2), then form the mean value from the measurement values. The mean value must be within the specified gap. | |
