Remove

 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Starting the engine and fill up the compressed air system until pressure regulator activation

 Air dehydrator is removed when compressed air system reaches the adjustment pressure after being filled up.

Stop the engine

Remove granulated cartridge (1)

 In Code (B62) the heated compressed air (dual chamber system) replace both granulated cartridges (1).

 Granulated cartridges (1) removed should be discarded with oil filters, bulky waste because they get oil waste.

Replace seal ring (2)



Install

Grease gentle new seal ring (2) and install

Grease gentle thread and seal ring (arrow) of new granulated cartridge (1)

Screw manually granulated cartridge (1) until seal (arrow) leans against housing. Then press a little more

Fill up the compressed air system and check the compressed air dehydrator seal

 Pressure around the dehydrator is released when compressed air system reaches the adjustment pressure.
