Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Check brake fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (1)



Brake fluids (DOT 4 plus)

 The fluid level must be between the "MIN" and "MAX" markings on the brake fluid reservoir (1).
In the event of a brake fluid level which has dropped due to brake lining wear only refill with brake fluid if the brake fluid level is below the "Min" mark.

If the fluid level is too low:



Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.

If the fluid level is too high:



Extract brake fluid until the fluid level is at the "MAX" mark.
