Observe the following points when measuring deceleration values of the parking brake:
When operating the parking brake hand brake lever, a braking effect must be discernible after 3 to 4 notches.
For vehicles with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 3.5 t, the deviation must not exceed 50 %, based on the highest value.
For vehicles with a permissible gross vehicle weight of more than 3.5 t, the deviation must not exceed 30 %, based on the highest value.
If the test results differ from the test specifications given in the operation text, the cause must be established and eliminated as a separate repair order.
