Check

Drive the vehicle to a suitable place for the checking

 A flat, clean place and with a workshop pit is considered ideal.

Check the clearance of the housings (arrows) of the upper trailing arms (1) and lower trailing arms (2)

 Utilize a lever placed between the trailing arms and the vehicle frame of the vehicle to pry them sideways and, checking this way if there is play.

If there is excessive play, it will be necessary to replace the bearings of the trailing arm. Follow the work steps below:



Remove the trailing arms

Only vehicles with fixed strut rod


