Rear axle - oil change

Bring rear axle oil to operating temperature

The rear axle oil must be at operating temperature for the oil change.

 Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.

Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.

Clean the area around the oil filler screw and oil drain screw.

Unscrew oil filler screw

 Clean oil filler screw.

Unscrew oil drain screw

 Collect the oil using a suitable container and allow to drain off completely. Clean the oil drain screw.

Screw in oil drain screw

 Replace sealing ring.



Pour in oil up to bottom edge of oil filler opening



Screw in oil filler plug

 Replace sealing ring.
