Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Preparatory activity

Lift vehicle with lifting platform.



Vehicle must be horizontal.
Otherwise, the front axle differential is not filled correctly and an incorrect oil filling capacity could lead to leakage and material damage.



Clean

Clean area surrounding filling screw (1) and drain screw (2).



Remove

Remove filling screw (1).

Drain off

4

Remove drain screw (2) and drain oil from front axle differential.



Clean

5

Clean drain bore in front axle differential.

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Install

Apply a drop of sealant to start of lower thread of the new drain screw (2), and then immediately tighten new drain screw (2).


Replace drain screw (2) each time it is removed.
Otherwise, this may lead to leakage and consequential damage.

Add defined oil filling capacity.



Clean filler bore in front axle differential.

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Install

Apply a drop of sealant to start of lower thread of the new filling screw (1), and then immediately tighten new filling screw (1).


Replace filling screw (1) each time it is removed.
Otherwise, this may lead to leakage and consequential damage.
