| On trailer hitches with separate locking element, the safety knob (1) must be pulled out to lift the coupling bolt. | ||
1 | Raise coupling bolt using hand lever (2) | Coupling jaw trailer hitch The coupling bolt must engage automatically when in the raised position. | |
2 | Lift coupling bolt (3) using a suitable tool | Coupling jaw trailer hitch The coupling bolt must disengage from the catch and engage in the lower pilot bushing. The automatic locking element must engage simultaneously. | |
