Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Preparatory activity

Lift vehicle with lifting platform.



Vehicle must be horizontal.
Otherwise, the transfer case is not correctly filled and an incorrect oil filling capacity can lead to fluid loss and property damage.



Clean

Clean area around filling screw (3).



Remove

Remove filling screw (3).



Check

Check oil level.

If transfer case (1) is filled up to lower edge of threaded hole of filling screw (3),



Oil level OK.

If transfer case (1) is not filled up to lower edge of threaded hole of filling screw (3),



Oil level not OK. correct the oil level.

Clean

Clean threaded hole of filling screw (3) in transfer case.

Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml)

Install

Tighten new filling screw (3) on transfer case (1).


Replace filling screw (3) each time it is removed.
Otherwise, this may lead to fluid loss and consequential damage.
