| Remove | ||
1 | Remove center engine compartment lining. | ||

2 | Remove stop plug (4e). | ||
3 | Remove stop plug (6). | If the torque converter cannot be turned via the drain opening of the stop plug (4e). | |
4 | Turn torque converter in direction of engine rotation until drain screw (5) appears in drain opening of stop plug (4e). | Commercially available devices/tools. | |
Draining | |||
5 | Remove drain screw (5) and drain transmission oil from torque converter. | | |

6 | Remove automatic transmission oil pan with automatic transmission oil filters. | ||

| Install | ||
7 | Install new automatic transmission oil pan with automatic transmission oil filters. | ||

8 | Tighten new drain screw (5). | Drain screw to torque converter | |
| Clean | ||
9 | Clean torque converter and transmission bell housing in area of drain opening. | ||
| Install | ||
10 | Install stop plug (4e). | ||
11 | Install stop plug (6). | If stop plug (6) was removed beforehand. | |
Filling | |||
12 | Fill automatic transmission with oil. | ||

13 | Install center engine compartment lining. | ||
