	Suction off or extract
1	Replace oil filter element (4).		AP18.20-G-0100-04CH
		 Change engine oil and oil filter only when engine is warm.
		 Oil filter cover to oil filter housing	*BA18.20-N-1006-01N
2	Remove cap (1) from cylinder head cover.	 Before removing, clean area surrounding cap (1). Otherwise, dirt may enter the engine and cause damage.
3.1	Pull oil dipstick or stop plug out of guide tube and extract engine oil through the guide tube.	When extracting engine oil.
3.2	Unscrew drain screw (5) and drain engine oil.	When draining engine oil.
4	Clean drain screw (5) and replace sealing ring.	Only when draining engine oil.
5.1	Insert oil dipstick or stop plug into guide tube.	When extracting engine oil.
5.2	Screw in drain screw (5).	When draining engine oil.

	Filling
6	Add specified filling capacity of engine oil to filler neck of cylinder head cover.	 To determine the filling quantity required, it may be necessary to measure the end face height (A) on the oil pan (10).

7	Fit cap (1) to cylinder head cover.
	Check
8	Start engine, run for 1 to 2 minutes at idle speed, then switch off the engine.	 Do not rev up the engine while there is no oil pressure. Damage may occur otherwise.
		 Note oil pressure warning lamp. It must go off after a few seconds.
9	Check oil filter housing and, if necessary, the drain screw (5) for leak tightness.	 Visual inspection.
10	Check oil level after a waiting time of approx. 5 min, then correct oil level if necessary.
11	Confirm oil and oil filter change in maintenance booklet.
