Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.
Place a suitable container to catch the excess AdBlue fluid below the pump filter unit (2)

Remove filter element (1)
Use as sliding agent the prescribed MB silicon grease. Silicon grease application must be extremely moderated; Otherwise it may cause damage to the SCR system.
Installation: Apply a thin layer of MB silicone grease to the O-ring of the filter element (1) and to the filter bowl before assembly. Bleeding the system is unnecessary, as it is self-bled.
