3 | Check throttle lever (1) for tight seating on throttle shaft | ||
Adjustment | |||
4 | Check position of throttle shaft in park and operating position | In neutral position the notch (4) must be parallel, and in operating position perpendicular to the flow direction of the exhaust gases. | |
5 | Turn steering wheel lock to drive position and actuate engine brake with the accelerator pedal in the wide open throttle position | In operating position the throttle lever (1) must again touch the bracket (2). | |
6 | Check pretension of engine brake cylinder in park position of engine brake | The pretension is adequate, if the throttle lever (1) touches by means of return spring the engine brake cylinder at bracket (2). | |
7 | Install interior compartment flap above engine | ||
