Remove lower engine compartment paneling.



Check poly-V belt (1) for wear and damage at points visible from below and compare with damage profiles.

 Commercially available devices/tools
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, (e.g. HAZET 1977-1)

If damage or wear is present.



Replace poly-V-belt (1). Confirm conducted operations in maintenance booklet or in Digital Service Booklet (DSB).


