Check that air intake duct (1) and boots for damage and leaktightness at the connections (arrows)

 Check for leaktightness and damage or any other defects (e.g. porosity, chafe marks) which rule out reusing the parts.

If damage or defects are found:



Rectify damage and defects subject to separate repair order.

Check lines and hoses of compressed-air supply and crankcase ventilation system for any damage and leaktightness at the connections

 Check for leaks and damage or any other defects (e.g. porosity, chafe marks) which rule out reusing the parts.

If damage or defects are found:



Rectify damage and defects subject to separate repair order.

Ensure all hose clamps are tightly connected

 If necessary retighten or replace loose hose clamps
Replace subject to a separate repair order.
