During removal/installation of the engine cover (1), it is absolutely essential to ensure that the engine cover is pulled (arrow A) for removal or pushed for installation at the points marked in the picture only. Here, the ball heads (2) engage in the ball mount receptacles (3). No force may be applied at any other points on the engine cover.
The engine cover can get damaged if these instructions are not observed.
