Remove

Remove accelerator pedal sensor (B37)

The accelerator pedal sensor (B37) with its pedal cover is no longer required.

Remove rubber support of foot-operated parking brake (4)

The rubber pedal pad of the foot-operated parking brake (4) is no longer required.

Remove pedal rubber support of brake pedal (5)

The pedal rubber support of the brake pedal (5) is no longer required.

Install

Install accelerator pedal sensor (B37) with stainless steel support (3)

Use new accelerator pedal sensor (B37).

Attach stainless steel pedal pad (1) to the foot-operated parking brake (4) in the lower area (arrow A) and invert clockwise over the foot-operated parking brake (4)


Do not use lubricants when installing.
Otherwise the firm seating of the stainless steel pedal pad (1) will not be assured.

Attach stainless steel pedal pad (2) to the brake pedal (5) in the lower area (arrow B) and invert clockwise over the brake pedal (5)


Do not use lubricants when installing.
Otherwise the firm seating of the stainless steel pedal pad (2) will not be assured.

Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)

Attach note "Stainless steel pedal pads as per AN29.10-P-0002EL" under field organization texts to design group 29.
