Installation notes for exhaust systems with corrugated hose

Mount exhaust pipe with corrugated hoses (1) unstressed, do not overstretch! Do not tension corrugated hoses (1) through the weight of the exhaust system!
Non-aligned assembly (corrugated hose (1) routed in curves or with S-shape deformation) or overstretching of the corrugated hose systems will result in plastic deformation of the corrugated hoses (1). This will cause leakages, in particular in the welding areas (arrows) on the exhaust pipes.
