This wheel is designed for a limited driven distance of maximum 20,000 km and it may not be used as a normal wheel.
When replacing a tire the spare tire can be mounted on a wheel, if the tire design matches the wheel. If the tire is older than 6 years, it should only be used in a breakdown case.
Operation with more than one lightweight spare wheel is not permissible.
Have the lightweight spare wheel replaced by a normal wheel at the next Mercedes-Benz Service-Station.
If the lightweight spare wheel is mounted on vehicles with a tire size 245/45 R18, then because of the different tire dimensions a change in handling performance can be expected.
