Connect central locking tester to the connector in place of the CL control module.
Unlock vehicle mechanically.

Doors not fitted are indicated by both LEDs (green and red) lighting up.

Test fuse F44 and replace if necessary. Test voltage supply of CL control module according to current wiring diagram.
Check whether the door which the central locking tester has indicated as faulty, is correctly closed.
If YES:
Test wiring, command switch, rotary tumbler switch and actuator motor of the relevant door, see "Test of electrical system".
Green LEDs of all doors fitted come on and
Red LEDs of all doors fitted do not come on.
Circuit 30 LED comes on?
Check whether the door which the central locking tester has indicated as faulty, is correctly closed.
If YES:

Unlock vehicle with pushbutton at central locking tester.

Check whether the door which the central locking tester has indicated as faulty, is correctly closed.

Test wiring, command switch, rotary tumbler switch and actuator motor of the relevant door, see "Test of electrical system".

Operational check OK?

Replace door lock with actuator.
