Explanatory notes on the test program Test steps are subdivided into main and secondary test steps. Refer to index 00 for a summary of the logos (symbols) currently available The symbol means chapter/section. If cables are listed in the "Possible cause/remedy" column, all connectors and fuses from the control module to the component are also possible causes of the fault. If the specified value is not reached in a test step, work has to continue with the corresponding sub-test step or cross reference. When using a socket box the numbers of the sockets to be connected are located next to the tester logo in the test table. The connectors to be connected to the socket box via the test adapter are located above the tester logo together with the code designations as in the valid wiring diagram. On tests without a socket box the pin numbers of the measuring points are located next to the tester logo and above that the code designations of the components together with the connector. |
