1 | Check radiator for leaks and damage | If damage or deficiencies are discovered the radiator should repaired or replaced. | |
2 | Inspect radiator and charge air cooler for external soiling | The fins and the space between the radiator and charge air cooler must not be clogged with dirt. | |
Clean the radiator and the charge air cooler externally if very dirty. | |||
3 | Check for damage on and general condition of all lines and hoses | Check all lines and hoses on the cooling and heating system for damage, general condition, routing free of chafing points and proper attachment as well as for leaks at the connection points. | |
The lines and hoses must be replaced if damage or deficiencies are discovered, and proper routing and attachment must be established if necessary. |
