As of <> a modified air filter monitoring sensor is installed on the engine series 457, 541, 542, 902, 906 and 926 05/2009

Previous air filter monitoring sensor:

Part no. A 011 542 50 17 of the Siemens VDO company

Modified air filter monitoring sensor:

Part no. A 006 542 03 18 of the Continental company

If on vehicles with production date up to 04/2009 the air filter monitoring sensor of the Siemens VDO company is replaced by the air filter monitoring sensor of the Continental company in addition the adapter cable (see Parts ordering notes) must be ordered and installed at the same time.

This is necessary as the air filter monitoring sensor of the Continental company has a new connection.
