Remove/install

Switch off ignition.

Disconnect ground lead from battery.

Remove bolts (2) from underside of steering wheel.
Screw/bolt, airbag to steering wheel

Screwdriver bit

Remove airbag (1) with attached electric line from steering wheel.

Disconnect electrical connector from airbag (1).
Installation: The electrical connector must latch into place.

Install in the reverse order

Perform function test.
The airbag indicator lamp should not come on when the wheels are fully turned in either direction.

Dispose of removed airbag (1) properly.
Only if new airbag (1) was installed.
