Remove

Remove seat backrest

Unhook holddown spring (9) from seat frame

Remove drive plate (7), toothed element (6), bearing sleeve (8) and hexagon socket head screw (5)

Remove counternut (10) and holddown spring (9)

Check all parts for wear and replace according to condition.



Install

Insert driver (A) of pin (7) into mounting hole of toothed element (6) and slide onto bearing sleeve (8)

Insert bearing sleeve (8) in seat frame and lock in place using hexagon socket head screw (5)

Grease all parts thoroughly.

The flat side of the toothed element (arrow) points toward the outside.

Insert holddown spring (9) into drive plate (7) and turn in counternut (10)

Tighten hexagon socket head screw (5)



Install seat backrest
