Remove heater

Remove heater from the housing

Models 901.6, 902.6, 903.6, 904.6,

Unlock locking lugs (8) of cover (1)

Lift up cover (1) and remove from casing housing (4) of the heater

Detach exhaust gas line, combustion air line, flange plate and flange gasket from heater unit

Only AIRTRONIC heater D2.

Installation: Check condition of flange gasket (5) and replace if necessary.

Remove auxiliary heater control unit (2)

Take heater out of casing housing

Detach combustion air blower and hot air blower (7) from heat exchanger (3)

Installation: Note the tightening sequence A-D for the screws.

Take off gasket (6)

Installation: Clean sealing surfaces. Replace gasket (6).

Install in the reverse order
