1 Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable subsurface.

2 Place suitable clean spacers, e.g. foamed material or styrofoam pads below new headliner.

Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects, otherwise covering of new headliner (1) will be damaged.

The foamed material or styrofoam pads prevent the new headliner (1) from sagging when performing the following steps.

3 Route new Parktronic system wiring harness (2) parallel to main wiring harness (4)

The old headliner (1) serves as a template for routing the wiring harness.

4 Glue new Parktronic system wiring harness (2) onto new headliner with an approx. 10 cm long strip of adhesive tape at a distance of approx. 10 cm.

Do not overcross new Parktronic system wiring harness (2) and main wiring harness (4) and apply sufficient number of strips of tapes, otherwise a short circuit on the headliner can result from chafing.
