The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.
The following commercially available tools are required to perform operation steps: Rotary wire brush, spot weld milling cutter, wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

Expose and cut off spot welds on center roof paneling (areas A, B, C, D, E, F, G, W, X, Y, Z).

Remove damaged roof paneling.

Sand down to bare metal connection surfaces in the cross-hatched areas on both sides.

Grind the mating surfaces down to bare metal on one side (areas H, I, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R).

On the insides of spot weld flanges, apply zinc dust paint.

Remove shavings and drill chips.
