1 Expose and mill out weld spots in areas (A, B and G).

2 Expose spot welds in the areas (C and D) and cut out.

3 Mark separation line (3) with length of a = 350 mm at edge of A-pillar (arrow) on body.

4 Mark separation line (4) at edge of A-pillar (arrow) as indicated.

5 Draw separation line (5) on body along panel contours (arrows).

6 Separate A-pillar inner section (2) along separation lines (3, 4 and 5) and remove.

Cutting depth along separation line (3) max. 1 mm.

7 Slightly bend A-pillar panel (6) up in areas (F, H) of cut out spot welds and grind off spot weld residues from remaining A-pillar inner section as well as on weld web of splash wall (7), area E.
