Remove/install bottom engine compartment paneling

Disconnect O2 sensor connector (G3/3x1, G3/4x1)

Disconnect flange connections for exhaust manifold/ catalytic converter or front exhaust system

If bolts are sluggish, or thread damaged:

Replace rivet nuts in exhaust manifold

Unscrew nuts (6a) on left and right carrier

Unhook rubber mount (18)

Model 210.072 E 50 AMG

Observe rubber mount with a high shore hardness, see

Guidelines concerning installed position and suspension mount for the silencer

Remove complete exhaust system

Installation: Model 210.072 E 50 AMG

Observe installation position of rear muffler to AMG bumper, see

Checking

Check rubber mount (18)

Replace, if necessary.

Install in the reverse order
