1	Remove rear engine crossmember (3)		AR22.10-D-1170SD
2	Remove catalytic converter bolts (1) on exhaust manifold (2)	 Installation: Check rivet nuts in exhaust manifold (2); replace if necessary. Refer to: 
		Replace rivet nuts in exhaust manifold (2).	AR49.10-D-5531-01US

3	Remove catalytic converter (1) on bracket (6)
4	Unclip electrical connectors (4) for O2 sensors from retaining clips on transmission, disconnect and expose electrical lines to O2 sensors on transmission	 Installation: Note installation of lines and replace cable ties.
5	Remove catalytic converter (1) on center exhaust (5)	 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces.

6	Remove O2 sensors from catalytic converter (1)	When replacing catalytic converter (1).
		 Installation: Coat thread of O2 sensors with hot lubricating paste.

7	Install in the reverse order
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 8	Perform engine test run and inspect exhaust system in the area of catalytic convertor (1) for leaks
