Remove

Remove ball socket

Unscrew nut (4)

Remove hose clamps (1, 2)

Detach bellows (3) from steering gear and tie rod

Before installing the bellows, check the tie rod joint and gear rack for signs of corrosion and contamination, if necessary replace steering

Install

Slide on bellows (3)

Rub gear rack grease onto internal bellows to ease assembly

Fasten bellows (3) in place using hose clamp (1)

Slide hose clamp (2) onto tie rod

Hose clamp (2) not mounted onto bellows until after toe adjustment

Turn-in nut (4)
