Danger! | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between columns of lifting platform and position the four support plates below support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. | |
1 | Position the wheel gripper under the wheels | ||
2 | Raise vehicle evenly | ||
3 | Secure vehicle at the inner vehicle jack contact points at the front and rear with jack stands | As the wheel grippers at the rear axle (2) have to be removed, the vehicle must be secured adequately by further jack stands at the usual jack support points otherwise the stability is not guaranteed. | |

4 | Detach propeller shaft (1) at the rear axle (2) and at the transmission | Secure the propeller shaft (1) to prevent it from falling down. When removing, do not pull the propeller shaft (1) apart. If the sliding piece has to be separated from the propeller shaft (1) before removal the position of the sliding piece is to be marked relative to the propeller shaft (1). | |

5 | Remove propeller shaft (1) | Remove the propeller shaft (1) with the help of a second person. | |
