Place selector lever on position "P".

Remove retaining bracket (8).

Disconnect propeller shaft (2) from transmission

Detach propeller shaft center support bearing (4).

Unscrew propeller shaft center support bearing from frame crossmember and tie up propeller shaft to one side.

Unscrew twelve-point collar nut (7) and detach flange (3).

Installation: Secure new twelve-point collar nut by caulking after tightening.

Remove sealing ring (arrow) from the flange.

Installation: Replace sealing ring.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (5) from rear transmission cover (1).

Installation: Drive in the new radial shaft sealing ring using drift and pack the sealing ring between the sealing lips with grease.

Install in the reverse order.
