Remove/install

Slide boot (2) on the gearshift lever extension (1) upwards

Unscrew bolt (3) and remove gearshift lever extension (1) from lower part of the shift lever (5)

Remove boot (4) from
lower part of the shift lever (5)

Unscrew bolt (6) and remove lower part of the shift lever (5) using suitable puller

The lower part of the shift lever (5) must not be knocked off the cone of the shift lever, otherwise the mounting of the shift lever in the switch housing (7) will be damaged.
