Depressurize pressure reservoir for automatic gear control (AGS)
Warning
Risk of injury to hands or eyes when working on hydraulic pressure reservoir systems caused by hydraulic fluid to specification 345.0 spraying out under pressure
Depressurize hydraulic pressure reservoir system before commencing work on system. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.
Depressurization is to be carried out preferably with Star Diagnosis, because the system may have up to 90 bar of pressure and the mechanic depressurization is an additional source of danger.
1.1
Depressurization with STAR DIAGNOSIS. De-pressurize the automatic gear system (AGS) pressure reservoir with the Star Diagnosis.
The input takes place under the menu items: - AGS; - Controls; - Depressurization. At the end, turn the ignition off.
1.2
Mechanical depressurization. Mechanically depressurize the automatic gear system (AGS) pressure reservoir .
Turn ignition off and open the pressure limiting valve (1) at the automatic gear system (AGS) (1) operating unit (AGS) (12A05)approximately half a turn. Close again after approximately 60 seconds and tighten .
