1 | Open the engine compartment hood | ||

2 | Open the expansion tank's access cap | Access for maintenance and repair work execution vary according to the body type/manufacturer. | |
3 | Drain the coolant |

Collect the coolant in a suitable container. | |||
4 | Unfasten the coolant hoses (1, 2, 3 ) | Check the hose and the clamp for damages and replace them if necessary. | |
5 | Remove the tank's fastening bolts (4) from the support | In types 384.3 loose the fastening belt nut | |
6 | Remove the equalizing tank (5) | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order of the steps |
