FleetBoard initial startup

This form assigns a vehicle equipped with FleetBoard components to a FleetBoard fleet. A precondition is that a FleetBoard fleet and a corresponding framework agreement with a fixed agreed service scope already exist. When the FleetBoard-services for the vehicle are enabled by Daimler AG Services FleetBoard GmbH the other service charges agreed in the framework agreement in addition to the basic charge are incurred.
The customer should state (fleet name), i.e. the framework agreement, indicated by agreement number, to which the vehicle is to be assigned.

We require the following details in order to be able to enable the vehicles:

2. Phone card

 Mobile phone number with customer's own SIM card or mobile phone number (MSISDN) with "Flatrate" service:

 PIN (only with customer's own SIM card):

 The mobile phone number (MSISDN) and the SIM card number (ICCID) are noted on the label affixed to the FleetBoard control unit or enclosed with the FleetBoard control unit; this label can also be stuck to the form.

The vehicle the PIN of the SIM card must be changed to 5540 for commissioning. As an alternative the PIN inquiry can also be disabled. Once the vehicle is commissioned, the PIN can be changed again individually via the Fleetboard support (not with "Flatrate" service).

The default settings are adopted for the periodic position messages of your fleet. These cause additional costs. The settings can be changed by your administrator at any time.

Furthermore, before sending off the commissioning form, we request you to take the following precautions for enabling:

 In order to be able to activate FleetBoard in the vehicle a D1 or a D2 telephone card is required in the vehicle.

 For this telephone card the SMS service must be enabled by the cellular telephone system service provider (not with "Flatrate" service).
