3 | Remove damping (2) | ||
4 | Remove roller sun blind (3) at front | ||
5 | Remove roller sun blind (4) at rear | ||

7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5) from roller sun blind drive unit (M12/5), drive unit 1, panoramic sliding roof (M12/6) and drive unit 2, panoramic sliding roof (M12/7) | ||
8 | Remove roller sun blind drive unit (M12/5), drive unit 1, panoramic sliding roof (M12/6) and drive unit 2, panoramic sliding roof (M12/7) | Unscrew 3 bolts (6) each | |
9 | Loosen panoramic roof drive (1) | Aid of helper required for supporting panoramic roof drive.Do not damage panoramic roof drive! | |
Unscrew 22 bolts in area A. Additionally unscrew 6 bolts each on both sides of vehicle (7, 8, 9). Unscrew 6 bolts (10, 11) in front area. | |||
10 | Remove panoramic roof drive (1) toward rear from vehicle | Aid of helper required | |
Do not allow the front roller sun blind coupling to fall out! | |||
Do not damage panoramic roof drive and interior equipment components! | |||

11 | Position panoramic roof drive (1) and fasten | Aid of helper required | |
Do not damage panoramic roof drive and interior equipment components! | |||
Do not allow the front roller sun blind couplings to fall out. | |||
Route electric wiring harness | |||
Screw in bolts in area A and bolts (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) | |||
12 | Adjust panoramic roof drive | Replace bolts (6). | |
13 | Tighten bolts (6) on roller sun blind drive unit (M12/5), drive unit 1, panoramic sliding roof (M12/6) and drive unit 2, panoramic sliding roof (M12/7) with specified tightening torque. | Bolt, roller sun blind drive unit to panoramic roof drive | |
Bolt, drive unit panoramic sliding roof to panoramic roof drive | |||
14 | Connect electrical connector (5) to roller sun blind drive unit (M12/5), drive unit 1, panoramic sliding roof (M12/6) and drive unit 2, panoramic sliding roof (M12/7) | ||
